Are You An Expert in ArLD?

Our Goals

We want to identify existing networks of experts in ArLD across disciplines and settings including hospital specialists, scientists, community and voluntary sector workers with different professional groups including allied health professionals, nurses and trial designers. Representatives from these groups and patients with lived experience will form ARMS-Hub.

The overall aim is to address the urgent unmet need to increase and advance ArLD research in the UK.

We will develop proposals for new research involving a wide range of professions and settings to address these issues. We will have a symposium (21st February 2024) where we will present the findings from the meetings and discuss research proposals.

As an important stakeholder, you will be contributing to the direction of research to improve the lives of people with ArLD. We also need your assistance to spread the word that we are looking for patients and/or their carers to contribute to ARMS-Hub.
