Dr Ewan Forrest
Consultant Hepatologist
Ewan is a Consultant Physician and Hepatologist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary since 2003 and an Honorary Professor at University of Glasgow since 2019. He has got specialist interest in Alcohol-related Liver Disease and in particular the management of alcoholic hepatitis. He was the co-developer of the Glasgow Alcoholic Hepatitis Score and the Glasgow Modified Alcohol Withdrawal Score. He is also Chair of the Alcohol harms Group, Glasgow Alcohol Drugs Partnership and Hepatology Lead for NHS Research Scotland.
