Joana Castro

Joana completed her Nursing Degree in 2012 in Portugal and came to the UK as a newly qualified nurse. She has since worked in the NHS and has also done humanitarian work. Following her assignments in Africa and the Middle East, she started taking an interest in research and graduated in 2019 with a Master’s in Public Health with a specialisation in Epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. She then worked as a Clinical Research Nurse and is currently coordinating the ARMS-Hub project.
